1、Direction and position

Many valves are directional, such as shut-off valves, throttle valves, pressure reducing valves, check valves, etc. Reverse installation can lead to effectiveness and longevity of use (such as throttling valves), or simply not working (such as pressure reducing valves) or dangerous (such as check valves). Current globe valves have asymmetrical valves from left to right, allowing fluid to pass through the valve inlet from bottom to bottom. 2、Construction work

Installation and construction must be done carefully, taking care not to touch the valve made of brittle materials. Before installation, check the valve, specifications and model, especially if the valve is damaged. The valve stem is most likely to be touched during transportation, so rotate it several times to see if it is bent. Debris should also be removed from the valve.

When the valve is lifted, the rope should not be tied to the handwheel or the valve, but to the flange to avoid damage to these parts.

When installing a flanged valve, the bolts should be symmetrically and evenly tightened. Valve flanges and pipe flanges should be parallel and moderately spaced to avoid excessive pressure or cracks in the valve. Special attention should be paid to brittle materials and low strength valves. Valves that require welding to the pipeline must be spot welded, then fully open the closure and then welded shut.

3、Protection measures

Some valves should have external protection, namely insulation and thermal insulation. Hot steam pipes are sometimes mixed with insulation. Need to insulate or cool the valve should be determined according to the production requirements.

In principle, the low temperature of the medium in the valve will affect production efficiency or freezing valve, so insulation is required, even rice. When the valve is exposed, which is not conducive to production or cause frost, it should be kept cold. Insulation materials include asbestos, slag wool, glass wool, perlite, diatomaceous earth, vermiculite, etc. Cold materials include cork, perlite, foam, plastic, etc.

4、Bypass and instruments

In addition to the necessary protection facilities, some valves have bypass routes and instruments. Set up detour routes. It is very convenient to maintain a few valves. 5、Replacement of liner
