The National Standardization Administration Committee recently released the "Valve Modeling Method"; proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation, drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T1.1-2009, the valve modeling method is categorized by the National Valve Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC188).

Valve type preparation method specifies the valve type preparation, valve type, drive mode, connection form, structure form, sealing surface material, pressure and valve body material code and code representation. Valve type preparation method applies to all types of gate valves, globe valves, throttle valves, butterfly valves, ball valves, diaphragm valves, plug valves, check valves, drain valves, plunger valves, pressure reducing valves, traps, safety valves of pipeline valve products. Valve model consists of seven parts:
